On June 8, the Jasper City Council approved a resolution requesting the return of funds by the Jasper County Appraisal District pursuant to Texas Tax Code Section 6.06(j). Council Member Lequin Hilderbrand moved to approve the resolution and Council Member Katelyn Hanson seconded; the motion passed unanimously after discussion.
