The Stephens County Board of Commissioners moved to abandon Skating Rink Road and authorized the chair to sign the required resolution. County staff noted the abandonment requires a state-mandated local road activity (LRA) form; the board subsequently approved completion of that form and authorized signatures. Commissioners asked staff to include a sketch or plat of the road with the documentation, since it was not included in the agenda packet.
