Ron Roth reported on March 5 that public works staff and volunteers have made major improvements to the Meeks Park pond, calling their efforts "tremendous work." He said the diversion ditch is covered and serves as a pathway, the diversion gate is functioning, and the dam at the pond exit is controlling water flow.
