Mayor Buckley proposed multiple edits to Sec. 30-29 including requiring parking on improved surfaces (asphalt, concrete or brick pavers), location-specific limits near the Third Lake boat launch and along North Lake Avenue, a 15-foot mailbox setback, and a 12-hour time limit for certain parking — trustees requested further discussion at the June meeting.

Mayor Buckley outlined requested changes to the village stopping, standing and parking ordinance (Sec. 30-29). Proposed edits include requiring parking on improved surfaces such as asphalt, concrete or brick pavers; adding location-specific restrictions at the Third Lake boat launch (east and west for 43 feet from the centerline of the boat-launch driveway) and on North Lake Avenue (north side east for 100 feet from the village hall turnaround at 87 North Lake Avenue); and prohibiting parking within 15 feet of mailboxes.
