Trustees voted 4-0 to approve Memphis ISD's plan to delay teacher certification requirements, allowing the district to implement an alternative staffing approach for the current period.

Sarah Cook presented the 'Delay of Teacher Certification Requirements Memphis ISD Plan' to the board. Trustee Josh Brooks moved to approve the plan and Trustee Charolette Maddox seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 4-0.
