The Public Safety Committee voted to forward the Monroe High School Pride Parade permit to the City Council. Clerk described the parade as an annual event planned for June 6 from about 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., noting the route "goes from the high school kind of around the square and then kind of ends in Twining Park," and said police and fire had no objections.
