The Pine River-Backus Board set monthly compensation for officers and members, established per-meeting pay, and approved mileage and meal reimbursement rates effective Jan. 1, 2026.

The board voted to set official monthly salaries for board officers and members and to fix per-meeting pay for special meetings and committee work. The motion, moved by Ryan Trumble and seconded by Leslie Bouchonville, set board pay at $200 per month for the Chair, Clerk and Treasurer, and $175 per month for all other members; special meetings and workshops will pay $100.
