The Pine River-Backus Board approved a 3.0 FTE principal structure—High School Principal (9–12), Middle School Principal (5–8) and Elementary Principal (PreK–4)—and authorized an additional principal position; motion by Ryan Trumble, second by Carrie Maurer-Ackerman; unanimous vote.

The Pine River-Backus School District Board of Education approved a 3.0 full‑time‑equivalent principal structure at its April 20 special meeting. Ryan Trumble moved and Carrie Maurer-Ackerman seconded approval of the configuration: a High School Principal for grades 9–12, a Middle School Principal for grades 5–8, and an Elementary Principal for PreK–4. The motion passed with all board members voting aye.
