Legislator Dave Maffucci and Majority Leader Michael Yudelson introduced resolutions authorizing two settlement agreements in opioid-related litigation: In re Purdue Pharma L.P., et al., Case No. 19-23649 (S.D.N.Y.), and In re National Prescription Opiate Litigation, MDL No. 2804 (N.D. Ohio). The measure was recorded as a matter of urgency and the transcript notes that Legislator Mercedes Vazquez Simmons declared her interest prior to the vote.
