The Watson Township board set the township’s 2026 compensation schedule and financial safeguards at its Jan. 5 reorganization meeting. The board approved a 3% pay increase for the Secretary/Treasurer, setting that salary at $15,012.00 per year. Road employees were set at $21.00 per hour and the Roadmaster at $23.50 per hour; the Zoning Officer will receive $250.00 per month and the Emergency Management Coordinator $150.00 per month.
