Conservation staff reported that campgrounds in Black Hawk County will open the next day but that planned replacement of a precast culvert at Black Hawk Park was delayed because the culvert is backordered. The county had planned the replacement before camping season but was notified of a long lead time; staff said the installation is now scheduled for October and will take two to three weeks.
