During commission reports the Chair said the Nebraska Department of Transportation had sent a letter indicating the county did not accurately separate past‑due federal and state dollars in an audit because of coding issues. The chair said staff (Martin, Jake, and others) will prepare a response to DOT explaining how the county will correct coding going forward.
