The board voted unanimously to delegate hiring authority for professional staff to the superintendent from May 20 through September 4, 2026, allowing summer hires to be finalized without another board meeting.

The Harleton ISD Board of Trustees voted to delegate hiring authority for professional staff to the superintendent for the period May 20, 2026 through September 4, 2026. The motion, moved by Pat Mc Gill and seconded by Kevin Evers, carried with Harvey Fox, Jacob Muehlstein, Brian Fitzgerald, Ben Wilson and Tim Skaggs voting in favor.
