Wayne Township announced at its May 26 meeting that the MAP grant application to fund 50% of a new comprehensive plan was not awarded. Supervisors directed the secretary to contact a company that helps municipalities craft comprehensive plans and obtain a requote so the township can begin the planning process without the MAP award.
