UGA student group urges expanded early voting at Tate Student Center
Eli King, a University of Georgia student and Young Democrats chapter president, asked the Athens-Clarke County Board of Elections to expand on-campus early voting beyond three days so students and UGA workers have more consistent access.

"My name is Eli King. I'm a rising junior at the University of Georgia," said Eli King during public comment, identifying himself as the president of a campus Young Democrats chapter and asking the board to "consider a motion to expand early voting at the Tate student center." King told the board that current on-campus early voting is limited to the final three days of the period and that students and UGA employees have limited time to vote under the present arrangement.
