On March 2, 2026, the Board of Trustees of GREGORY-PORTLAND ISD convened a Curriculum and Instruction Workshop at the Early Childhood Center in Portland. The minutes state the workshop began at 8:35 a.m. and record that "No quorum for this meeting." Trustees recorded as present were Lora Deluna, Mark Roach and Zachary Simmons; the document lists Nicole Nolen, Melissa Gonzales, Tim Flinn and Carrie Gregory as absent.
