Dr. Terry Everitt presented recommended changes bundled in TASB Update 126, explaining the revisions were driven primarily by legislation enacted during the 89th Regular Legislative Session. Trustee Loy Dorsey moved to approve the revisions to HISD Local policies, Trustee Justin Scarborough seconded, and the board approved the changes unanimously, 7—0.
