The Trinity Independent School District board voted on April 8, 2026, to name Dr. Geoffrey Bowdoin the lone finalist for superintendent after a closed executive session on the district’s superintendent search. The minutes record that Ricky Hortman moved and Elizabeth King seconded the motion; President Kevin Searcy called for discussion and the motion “carried unanimously.”
