Santee Board honors special-education students for learning progress
Board recognized students in the special education program from multiple schools, presenting certificates and medals and taking a short recess in the students' honor.

The Board held a Spotlight on Education honoring students in the special-education program who were recognized for overcoming obstacles and making notable learning progress. Dr. Brienne Downing read narratives about each student while President Dianne El-Hajj and Vice President Dustin Burns presented each student with a certificate and a medal.
