Board adopts Lone Star Governance monitoring materials and self-evaluation
Trustees approved Lone Star Governance items, including Goal 2, several GPM/CPM items, superintendent constraints, the board self-evaluation and an updated monitoring calendar; consultant Dave Plymale described tools to support board independence after his grant ends in August 2025.

The Colorado ISD Board of Trustees voted Monday to adopt Lone Star Governance materials and related monitoring tools. The package included Goal 2, GPM 2.2 and 2.3, superintendent constraint 4, CPM 4.1, board self-constraint 4, the May time tracker and an updated board monitoring calendar. Ty Wood moved to approve the package and Jamie Alvarez seconded; the motion carried.
