Board approves multiple facilities projects, lighting retrofits and vehicle purchases
Trustees unanimously approved a package of facilities-related actions including project completion for a high-school multipurpose building, LED lighting retrofits at four campuses, athletic facilities upgrades, new district vehicles, competitive solicitation requests for fire alarm and press-box work, and a guaranteed maximum price for central plant refurbishment.

The Rockwall ISD Board unanimously approved a series of finance and operations items addressing campus maintenance, safety and equipment. Motions included approval of the Rockwall High School multi-purpose building envelope project completion and purchases under Board Policy CH for LED lighting retrofits at JW Williams Middle School, Maurine Cain Middle School, Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School; athletic facilities upgrades and replacements; and procurement of new district vehicles. Each motion passed 7-0 with movers and seconders recorded in the minutes.
