Board members discussed proposed changes to Policy JFCEB (Personal Electronic Devices), with the central question being how to differentiate device rules by grade level. Chair Michael Campbell asked staff to return in December with language that would prohibit phones for K–8 students and allow high school students to carry devices but restrict classroom use, permitting limited use during meal times.
