The Board voted to approve a civil engineering pool as recommended by administration. The district will negotiate with selected engineering firms on a project-by-project basis and use qualifications to determine which firm receives specific assignments. Trustee Jerry Hooper moved for approval and Trustee David Gerlach seconded; the motion carried 5–0.
