Superintendent Oscar Muniz recommended that the board approve a UIL half-day for Dec. 17, 2025, to accommodate University Interscholastic League activities. Trustee Miguel Urquidi moved to approve the half-day; Vice-President Ramiro Antillon seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
