After an executive session, the Watonga Board of Education unanimously approved a contract for Superintendent Kyle Hilterbran on Dec. 8, 2025 following a 5–0 vote.

The Watonga Board of Education on Dec. 8 unanimously approved a contract for Kyle Hilterbran to serve as superintendent of Watonga School. Aaron Clewell moved to approve the contract and Dwight McGee seconded; the motion carried 5–0.
