County awards $38,207 CDBG concrete contract for Mt. Blanchard sidewalks
The Hancock County commissioners awarded a $38,207.35 contract to Allen County Earthworks, Inc. for concrete foundations, sidewalks and ramps in Mt. Blanchard under the Ohio CDBG program; $31,000 will be paid with grant funds and the village will cover the remaining $7,207.35.

Phil Johnson presented Resolution #385-26 recommending award of a contract to Allen County Earthworks, Inc. for sidewalk, curb, ramp and related concrete work in Mt. Blanchard under the Ohio Community Development Block Grant program. The total contract amount is $38,207.35; Johnson said $31,000 will be paid by the grant and the Village of Mt. Blanchard will pay $7,207.35. The commissioners approved the award by a 3-0 vote.
