Miami County sets paving, pipe and road-sign schedules for August–September
Highway Superintendent Chad Watson reported the chip-and-seal program is complete, paving is slated to begin Aug. 10 (weather permitting), pipe installations Aug. 4–5 and the Wabash Road project scheduled to start end of August with completion by the end of September 2026. Highway Superintendent Chad Watson told the commissioners the county's chip-and-seal program is finished for the year and that paving is scheduled to begin Aug. 10, 2026, weather permitting. He said two large pipe installations are planned Aug. 4–5, 2026 at 100 North and Eel River Cemetery Road, and the Wabash Road project is scheduled to start at the end of August with expected completion by the end of September 2026.
