The Tornillo ISD Board of Trustees approved a set of personnel and governance actions during the meeting. Finance staff proposed a separation incentive stipend of $2,500 for up to four classroom teachers who submit timely resignation notices to help the district plan staffing for the 2026 school year; the board approved the measure. Mr. Guerra said the district is offering four slots and estimated total cost at $10,000.
