The board moved through routine business items, approving the agenda, minutes, and the consent agenda by voice vote early in the meeting. Vice Chair Sophia Jackson presented a slate of appointments to advisory boards and commissions (Capital Area Workforce Development, Energy Advisory Commission, Fire Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, library commission, Open Space/Parks Advisory Committee, Water Partnership and others); the board moved and seconded the slate and approved it by voice vote.
