Buckingham supervisors keep Chambers as chair, appoint Carter Allen interim District 7 supervisor
At its first 2026 meeting the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors re-elected Mr. Chambers as chair and, after an executive session, appointed Carter Allen as interim supervisor for vacant District 7 until a special election on Nov. 3, 2026. Both actions passed by unanimous voice votes.
