The Marshall County Fiscal Court on Aug. 4 approved a contract between the Commonwealth and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office for a Highway Safety Grant. Commissioner Marty Barrett moved for approval and Commissioner Eddie McGuire seconded; the minutes record "All voted aye. Motion carried." Judge Spraggs presided.
