Staff reported that construction of the Park Lake Dog Park began on Aug. 12, 2025 with a budget of $364,000 and that Ilfeld parking-area improvements (curb/gutter, ADA compliance, picnic tables and landscaping) have $750,000 in GCDC capital outlay funding and are soliciting bids through Sept. 22, 2025. The council also recorded acceptance of a $1.1 million NMDOT Transportation Project Fund award to asphalt a segment of 5th Street (Corona to Capitan) and approved Resolution 25-33 to participate in the TPF match-waiver program for the 5th Street project.
