The Waterloo Local Board voted to enter an executive session at the April 9 meeting to consider the appointment and/or employment of a public employee, with the motion adopted by roll call.

Near the end of the meeting the board moved into executive session to consider the appointment or employment of a public employee, as permitted under Ohio law for personnel matters. The Board President (S1) read the statutory basis for executive session and stated the purpose as consideration of appointment and employment.
