The Nixon‑Smiley CISD Board of Trustees voted Dec. 8 to approve an update to the district'wide Threat Assessment and Safe and Supportive School Program (SSSP) and Team. The motion to approve the update was moved and seconded during the meeting and carried with Trustees Lott, Tschoepe, Villasana, Mendez, Warzecha and Newman voting aye.
