Councilman Merrill reported citizen concerns that a resident fired a pistol with a suppressor in a backyard near a main road for target practice. The Council confirmed the town currently has no ordinance prohibiting discharge of firearms within town limits and discussed the difficulty of distinguishing replicas from functional firearms; Councilman Merrill offered to draft a proposed ordinance for Council consideration and Mayor Rok said she would research the issue with the town clerk before any action.
