The Plains ISD Board voted to enter closed session at 7:52 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2025, citing Texas Government Code Sections 551.07 (Personnel), 551.071 (Attorney consultation), 551.076 (School safety) and 551.0821 (Student information). The motion to enter closed session was made and recorded as carried 4–0.
