Weatherly Borough Council voted unanimously on May 26 to approve participation in the ICE 287(g) task-force model, a program that would train and authorize designated officers to work with an ICE-led task force. The motion, made by Norman Richie and seconded by Jeffery Miller, passed on a roll call vote with all members voting yes.
