The Board of Lincoln County Commissioners voted unanimously on Aug. 3, 2026, to adopt Ordinance 26-01, a recodification of the Lincoln County Code that sets out procedures for repealing older ordinances, continuing existing rights and obligations, and establishing how future amendments will be processed. Chairman Jo M. Gilchrist opened the noticed public hearing; no members of the public testified.
