Randy told commissioners the erosion control fund is supported by permit fees, not the general fund, and that "we have about 20, projects that are being reviewed and or permitted." He said the office had brought in about $7,600 so far from permit fees and that many permits are still open because permit fees are often collected late in a project's review cycle.
