City Administrator Gilbert Salas told the council on April 9 that the Wastewater Treatment Plant contract "have been signed, and we are awaiting the project start date," and that staff went to the plant site this week to inspect conditions. He said the city is reviewing audit applications, exploring options for handling short-term rental (STR) responsibilities seasonally, and looking for a new permitting and STR software platform.
