The Village of Union Springs board voted to schedule a public hearing at its June meeting on Local Law #1 of 2026, a proposed update to the permit-fee schedule that would add a heating and cooling fee to the village permit list. The motion to schedule the hearing was made by Deputy Mayor Donna O’Hara, seconded by Trustee Bill Boyd, and approved unanimously.
