Council members flag emergency-access risks on Tom Mann Road during Cotton Fair
Council member Watts warned that Tom Mann Road is "extremely bad" past the railroad crossing and said "a large truck, firetruck and possibly an ambulance would not be able to use that road in case of an emergency while the train is stopped." Council member Keith added that parking on Georgia Highway 85 during the Cotton Fair creates additional hazards and noted DOT involvement is needed because Highway 85 is a state road.
