The Village of Union Springs Board on June 16 adopted Local Law No. 1 of 2026 to add furnace and central air systems to the permit fee schedule with a flat fee of $60 and to add a yearly short‑term rental registration fee of $25. Trustee Brian Cornell moved to approve the local law, Trustee Jeremy Smith seconded, and the board recorded "all ayes."
