The City of Lytle City Council approved Resolution #26-21 on June 8, 2026, engaging BrooksWatson & Co., PLLC to perform the city’s fiscal year audit for the year ending Sept. 30, 2026. Alderman Michael Rodriguez moved to approve the engagement and Alderman David Emery seconded the motion; the council recorded a 4–1 vote with Alderman Matthew Martinez opposing the resolution.
