Wayne County Commissioners recorded several pieces of correspondence on July 2. Victims Intervention Program requested permission to hold the Red Sand Project in front of the Wayne County Courthouse on July 30, 2026 to mark World Day Against Trafficking in Persons and said the group would pour red sand into courthouse sidewalk cracks to raise awareness.
