Robotics team and students recognized; superintendent previews financial report
The board heard the superintendent's report, including completion of six FOIA requests, introduction of the DERT 2040 Robotics Team, congratulations to 2026 graduates, recognition of two students with the Eagle Tallon Award, and notice that the last day of school is tomorrow with buildings dismissing one hour early.

During the Superintendent's Report, Mr. McKenzie noted that six new FOIA requests had been completed since the last meeting. Coach Sarsfield introduced members of the DERT 2040 Robotics Team from Dunlap High School and described the team's accomplishments over the past year. Dr. Dearman congratulated the 2026 graduates and thanked the board and staff for attending graduation ceremonies.
