The Village of River Forest Historic Preservation Commission voted unanimously June 25 to find the Certificate of Appropriateness application for 559 Franklin complete. Owner Cristine Duffy presented the proposal, which the minutes describe as including a turret addition, a new dormer and replacement of several windows; she also confirmed the existing copper gutters will continue to be used.
