Committee approves one-year natural gas contract extension at $4.92 per DTH

Brent Rabas, representative of Constellation Gas, presented pricing proposals for one- and two-year extensions to the county's existing natural gas supply agreement. After discussion, the Property & Technology Committee approved a one-year extension for the 2027/2028 heating season at a rate of $4.92 per Dekatherm (DTH). The motion was made by John Wittkopf and seconded by Brenda Carey-Mielke; the motion carried.
