Administration Committee drops Assistant DA incentive, approves Legal Assistant LTE and 2027 holiday schedule
Human Resources reported the State will not permit the county's prior Assistant District Attorney incentive; the incoming ADA will begin Aug. 17, 2026 without it. The committee approved adding a Legal Assistant LTE to the DA organizational chart and approved the 2027 holiday schedule.

Human Resources Director Shelly Schultz told the committee the State advised the county that the previous Assistant District Attorney agreement is considered unethical; as a result the county will not continue that incentive. The minutes record that the ADA candidate is scheduled to begin Aug. 17, 2026 without the agreement.
