McCamey ISD hears Phase 2 construction update; board discusses future projects and bond funds
Gallagher Construction reported progress on the high school gym and campus improvements; trustees held a Zoom with Live Oak Future to discuss teacher housing and possible uses of remaining bond funds.

Mark Miller and other representatives from Gallagher Construction provided a Phase 2 construction update at the Aug. 27 meeting. The minutes record completion of the high school gymnasium gas-line bore, VCT tile cleaning and waxing, and ongoing work including west-side grading, concrete paver installation at the gym entrance, a terrazzo pour and auditorium foyer forming and furniture installation. West-side curb and asphalt pours were scheduled to begin soon.
